In the first five years of the initiative, Denver's Road Home assisted 5,253 people who were experiencing homelessness in obtaining full or part-time employment.

The Homeless Initiative helps homeless people gain the skills and knowledge needed to join the workforce, plain and simple. Participants have access to current job listings, resources, trainings and opportunities to upgrade skills as well as resume and placement services.
Job seekers working with collaborating DRH agencies have an employment retention rate of 73% over a nine-month period. Employers can apply for a Federal Work Opportunity Tax Credit of up to $4,000 for hiring hard to serve job seekers.
